DocuSign Envelope ID:8D9BC5DD-7C82-4AD5-99FA-6B5756285DF1 ORDINANCE 4018 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4000 ADOPTED ON DECEMBER 13, 2021, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR ALL MUNICIPAL PURPOSES AND USES FOR THE YEAR 2022" WHEREAS, Ordinance 4000 was adopted on December 13, 2021 that established the annual budget for fiscal year 2022, and WHEREAS, On October 11, 2021 Anacortes City Council pledged to donate $500,000 to the Anacortes Family Center in support of construction of the affordable housing project located on 26th street, to be donated no later than 30 days after the receipt of the 2nd tranche of funding from American Recovery Plan Act grant in fiscal year 2022, but that pledge was not incorporated in the 2022 budget, and WHEREAS, The grant opportunity to support the 32nd and M road emerged in the current budget year that was not known about during budget development that the that City would like to take advantage of, therefore requiring an amendment to adjust the budget amount from preliminary design only to full design and construction, and WHEREAS, The EDASC program invoice for second half 2021 was not received until after the fiscal year cutoff date and therefore requires a rollover amendment to provide sufficient budget authority to pay those and current year fees. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Anacortes, Washington, as follows: Section 1.
