DocuSign Envelope ID:4DE22EF9-7B8D-4C6A-A801-3C69B2AA9A66 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3069 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANACORTES <br /> AUTHORIZING THE SURPLUS OF COPPER TUBING ORIGINALLY OBTAINED BY <br /> THE WATER UTILITY <br /> WHEREAS, The Anacortes Water Utility has in its inventory 780 feet of 3/4 inch copper tubing <br /> and 1020 feet of 1 inch tubing that was originally obtained to support the expansion and <br /> maintenance of water transmission and/ or distribution service laterals; and <br /> WHEREAS, This material is no longer needed because the Anacortes Water Utility has fully <br /> migrated to Reau Municipex; and <br /> WHEREAS, There are a number of municipal water utilities that still use copper tubing and <br /> these materials are currently difficult to obtain so there is increased demand for this type of <br /> material; and <br /> WHEREAS, The surplus and sale of this material will help another water utility while <br /> generating revenue for the Anacortes Water Utility; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Anacortes, <br /> Washington, that the 3/4 inch and 1 inch tubing described above currently held in inventory be <br /> declared surplus and sold. <br /> INTRODUCED, PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF ANACORTES on this 24th day of January,2022. <br /> MATTHEW C.
