DocuSign Envelope ID: FCFA5199-FF6D-490C-B3EA-AD210BAD85D4 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 4011 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANACORTES, <br /> AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A RESTRICTED DONATION TO THE CITY OF <br /> ANACORTES <br /> Whereas, the City of Anacortes authorizes acceptance of donations through AMC chapter 3.10, <br /> and <br /> Whereas, the City would like to accept a donation of$550,000 from Anacortes Skate Park <br /> Improvement Project to be used in accordance with the donative intent of providing funding to <br /> design and construct a new skatepark by the City of Anacortes Parks and Recreation department; <br /> and <br /> Whereas, the City would also like to accept a donation of$100,000 from the Kiwanis Club of <br /> Anacortes via the Anacortes Parks Foundation for this project; and <br /> Whereas, the amount of this restricted donation requires acceptance by City Council. <br /> Now, therefore,the City Council of the City of Anacortes does ordain as follows: <br /> Section 1. That these donations totaling $650,000 by the parties noted above be accepted for <br /> use on the design, bid and construction of a new skate park on the site of the existing <br /> Ben Root Skate Park; and <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and <br /> publication in the manner required by law. <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 24th day of January, 2022. <br /> CITY OF ANACORTES: <br /> Matthew C.
