The documents routed for the January 22, 2019 Development Review Meeting were
reviewed by the Public Works Engineering Department on January 22, 2019.
Below are the comments and or recommendations:
• See attached Vicinity Map
• All utilities will be installed underground for the new home. No overhead utilities
allowed, per AMC 15.32.010 - Policy.
• One access will be allowed for ingress and egress. The applicant will need to
submit a Sight Distance Triangle with the Building Permit Application.
• If the access to the east is to be maintained, the applicant will need to apply for
an encroachment agreement. Contact Steven Lange @
stevelacityofanacortes.org.
• If the access to the east is to be maintained, the applicant will need to obtain
the necessary easements from the Port of Anacortes for driveway access
across their property.
• Sanitary Sewer will need to connect to the gravity system. The point of connection
will be SSMH#SC-003.
• The Septic System will need to be abandoned per the Skagit County Health
Department regulations.
• Any wells on -site will need to be abandoned per the Skagit County Health
Department regulations.
• Storm water regulations shall meet AMC 19.76. For the applicants convenience,
Public Works Engineering can email the word documents for the correct drainage
report format.
• There is an existing water meter to the project site.
