Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance 4026 DocuSign Envelope ID:C82C2F17-CB16-4A9F-834D-FAOCBDF70OC4 ORDINANCE 4026 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4000 ADOPTED ON DECEMBER 13, 2021, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR ALL MUNICIPAL PURPOSES AND USES FOR THE YEAR 2022" WHEREAS, Ordinance 4000 was adopted on December 13, 2021 that established the annual budget for fiscal year 2022, and WHEREAS, The Police Department has implemented body cameras and less lethal tools that are being paid with grant funds and the accounting for these transactions were not put in place during the budget development period, and WHEREAS, The Finance Department is in the process of implementing the OpenGov budgeting and transparency software package whose first year subscription fee and one time implementation fee were not known at the time of budget development, and WHEREAS, Due to a grass roots donation effort the Skate Park project has been accelerated from Budget Year 2024 to the current year, and WHEREAS, The Fire Department has suffered a tremendous amount of staffing challenges including staff departures and Covid leave which has resulted in more overtime than was anticipated during budget development. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Anacortes, Washington, as follows: Section 1.
