Test date: 03/26/2022 Testing Summary: 1 Evergreen Certified, LLC. was contracted by Madrona Real Estatt Services, LLC. to perform Whole Building Air Leakage Testing in accordance with ASTM E779 per the requirements specified by the 2015 Washington State Energy Code, Commercial Provisions section C402.5: Air leakage -thermal envelope. The building was tested using pressurization and depressurizatibn with a final combined result of 0.306CFM/Ft2 of envelope at 75Pa with the c6de maximum allowable air leakage rate of the building envelope at 0.40 CFM/>~t2 of at 75Pa. The test was performed in accordance with the attached report. Summary of TestinLy Data: Test Conditions Air Flow CFM @ 75 Pa Air Change Rate ACH @ 75Pa ! If using a fan which is not self -referenced, and Room Pressure is positive, Fart Pressure is calculated by subtracting the measured Room Pressure from the Absolute Value of the Fan Pressure. If PrA>0 and fan is not self -referencing: FP = PrB I-PrA If PrA<0 or fan is self -referencing: FP = PrB Flow calculations are not valid if Fan Pressure is less than either IVIF or (K2 x I RP 1). Flow in CFM using the above coefficients is calculated as follows for standard Ranges: flow = (FP — (IRPI x K1) )N + (K + (K3 x FP)) Flow in CFM using the above polynomial coefficients is calculated as follows: f low = (a x W) + (b x W) + (c x FP) + d + ((g — ARP I) x f ) Page 110 Test Equipment j The following test equipment was used in the performance of the air leakage tests. Net Floor Area (Af) [sq ft]: 23,660 Building Height (from ground to top) [ft]: 57 Test Method All intentional openings were set to the operating condition expected during occupancy. Discussion of Results Leakage rate The measured air flow at a test pressure of 75 Pa was 8580.5 CFM which equates to a In equivalent leakage area of 706.1 sq in, based on adding up the leakage from all the holes and cracks in the exterior. This leakage also equates to a one inch gap, 58.84 feet long. Your home leaks as if there is one hole this size in the wall.
