Inspection Information:
Inspection Date: Time Onsite: 0800 Weather 50s-60s, overcast
08/31/2021 Conditions:
Inspection Performed: Lateral Framing
Comments:
1) Location: Exterior shearwalls, grids 1 and A, Basement to the roof. Details: Shearwall schedule on S4 0
3) MTC at this time inspected the interior shear walls at the locations noted above.
MTC verified APA rated 15/32" CDX sheathing.
Fastening was with .148x2.25" nails.
MTC verified edge nailing at all panels and holdown studs per the shearwall schedule.
MTC also verified 1 st floor anchor bolts.
MTC verified A35/LTP4 clips at all top plate to rim connections.
The following items were noted as in -complete or needing correction:
• Bottom plate nailing was incomplete at numerous locations
4) Holdowns: Earthbound job number 20038, dated 0112612021
The superintendent was present during the inspection and will reschedule after the bottom plate nailing has
been completed.
5) MTC verified the complete installation and activation of all shear wall holdowns and all were found to be in
conformance with the plan details and manufacturer's submittal.
All competed work was visually inspected and was in -compliance with approved plans and specs.
To the best of MTC inspector's knowledge, the above -described work was performed in general accordance with project
specifications and approved plans.
Work in progress. Additional inspection needed.
