Remarks:
MTC was on -site to verify the installation of the hold downs at the top of the basement walls. Hold downs were in place
in accordance with plan sheets and detail 8 on sheet S3.1. Rods were embedded 30" minimum with plate washer and
heavy hex nuts on the end.
One exception noted below:
-The hold down at gl (A/5) was a 3/4" diameter and was called out to be 7/8". The hold down directly north was a 7/8" rod
and was called out to be 3/4". These rods need to be swapped. MTC will verify correction prior to placement of concrete.
Contractor was notified of the issue.
Work in progress. Additional inspection needed.
