Dear Mr. Johnson:
On November 19, 2014, the Planning Director and I spoke to you at the front counter regarding
proposed commercial uses of 902 24th Street, Anacortes, WA. Although the subject property is
located in the Commercial (C) Zoning District, more information regarding what is proposed is
required to more accurately communicate to you what improvements the City of Anacortes would
require.
Should you wish to obtain additional information, I have attached hereto a pre-application
conference /development review group (DRG) meeting application form for you to complete.
Please note, in addition to completing the application, eleven (11) copies of both a narrative and
site plan are required at time of submitting the DRG application. Following submittal of the DRG
application, a DRG meeting will be scheduled in approximately two weeks. Representatives from
all departments are present at this meeting.

When all of the required information has been received, City staff will schedule your DRG meeting date.
Meetings are held every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. located at our operations facility at 2201 37th Street.
Applications must be turned in two (2)weeks prior to the meeting date. Due to the number of DRG meeting
requests, discussion will generally be limited to 30 minutes per project. However, if you feel you may
require additional time, please inform our office so we may adjust the schedule accordingly. For questions
