Street Improvement Requirements
Date: November 2, 2004
To: Mitch Schwabe
11544 Whistle Lake Road
Anacortes,WA 98221
From: Dave Walde
Public Works Inspector
Site: 5526 Sugarloaf
The Development Review Group has reviewed your request for a waiver or modification of
the street improvements required by your building permit. Occasionally a site may pose
physical or topographical impediments to the construction of standard street, curb, gutter,
sidewalk, or storm drainage. In those cases, the City may modify construction standards to
suit the site. But there are no such impediments in this case.
Your building permit requires the construction of standard curb and gutter along the north
and east sides of your property. You will also be required to sawcut the existing asphalt and
patch between the edge of paving and the new curb and gutter. Please provide plans
prepared by a Washington State licensed Engineer. If you have any questions, please
contact me.
