At some point we will remove the garage and place gravel, concrete, or asphalt to allow our family and friends to park rather than risking their lives on K Ave. As we discussed, we purchased the home with the idea of having an "in town " home and an additional "home office." I work in the teeny tiny office at Re/MAX Realty Associates which was formerly the Texaco station. I share a 5 X 6 cubicle with 3 sometimes 4 agents and it just doesn't work for me! I am weary of working out of the trunk of my car and my home office in Skyline in which my husband, assistant works and my two daughters are homeschooled. We plan to build a larger home office but it will probably 6e a couple of years before that will be accomplished as we are waiting for the development of lots near 5hip harbor. The location 2404 ve will 6e used as an extension of our home. My husban with chronic back pain from an injury in '92 and must spend much time lying flat. he spends hours running back and forth from Skyline to town taking our daughters to dance, church and social activities. The K Ave location would be a perfect place to rest rather than in his van. It will also be used for kids slumber parties (chaperoned, of course!) and a perfect place for my mother-in-law to stay when she come to visit (hee-hee!). We do not plan to use the home as a public office, butjust as at our Skyline home, there will be occasions where clients might stop by to pick up things, etc. There will be no office phone number, no walk in business, no sign. We are real estate investors and at some point there might be a "for sale" sign on the property if we do not opt to raise the house and develop the property at a future date. Don, I truly appreciate your kind consideration and the opportunity to discuss our plans with you. I think you will be pleased with the cosmetic improvements we will make to the property which includes the removal of the unsightly fence and garage, new landscaping, new paint outside and inside, and new carpet, doors, and light fixtures. Since the foundation is old and not worth repair, only minimal cosmetic changes are planned to get a few years use out of the structure as it is.
