Dear Ian:
The Port of Anacortes recently entered into an agreement for services to be provided by the
engineering and planning firm, Reid Middleton, inc., to assist Port staff and commissioners
with updated comprehensive planning for ;apitai facilities in and around Cap Sante Boat
Haven. One ciecient in the scope of work for these services is to evaluate existing parking
facilities and determine parking requiren-tents for various development alternatives. The use
and function of ail Port-owned upland parcels within the general Cap Sante Boat Haven area
will be evaluated to determine development potential and possible changes in parking
requirements.
The Reid Middleton work Is scheduled to be complete for presentation to Port
Commissioners in December 1998. We will provide the City of Anacortes with a site plan
and/or spread sheet showing parking provisions for existing and anticipated uses throughout
Cap Sante Marina, tc respond to Shoreline'Permit#240, Condition#4.
