I regret the delay in my return correspondence due to conversations with personnel of the Skagit County Assessor's Office. I learned that a REAL PROPERTY PETITION TO THE SKAGIT COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION would be required in order to request changes to the Property Records that would apply to the Calculations of the Annual Property Tax. While I do not have the authority to make changes to the information / data scheduled in the Subject Permit, I make this request in order to comply with the information that has been presented in the REAL PROPERTY PETITION that was mailed to Mount Vernon earlier this afternoon, 03-01-11. The following information was submitted with the PETITION using certain data from the Subject Permit: 3/2/2011 Page 2 of 2 1. The Single Family Residence was built during the year 2010 and not in 2005, as reported in the Skagit County Assessor Parcel Details. 2. The Living Area is 1657 Square Feet (see Subject Permit) and not 2196 Square Feet as listed in the Skagit County Assessor Parcel Details. (The Portalis Sales Literature indicates 1655 Square Feet) 3. The Building is a One Story Rambler. (No 2nd Floor Area with 546 Square Footage as listed in the Subject Permit. As the Owner of the Subject Property, I thought that a timely request for corrections to City& County Records would be appropriate concerning the matter of current and future Property Tax Calculations. Mr. Allan Schroeder represents Portalis LLC,the Developer of the Subject Property, and I assume that he would be able to verify the information presented in this Email.
