Box 547 Anacortes, WA 98221 Dear Mr. Munce: Thank you for returning my telephone call . I am sorry I was out and missed your call . My questions are in regard to surveying being done along the edge of my Oak Street property (Lots 4, 5 and the East 5 feet of Lot 6, Block 401, "Northern Pacific Addition to Anacortes," etc. ) . My property is the vacant lot next to the Channel House Bed and Breakfast and overlooks the Fur Breeders. The surveying in question has been done along the cliff overlooking Fur Breeders. I 've been told by the surveyor, Mr. Vadia of Anacortes, that this has to do with the sale of the property bordering my lot. Please advise as to what is being planned by the new owners of Fur Breeders -- whether there will be construction along the cliffs border- ing my lot (and, if so, what type, height, etc. ) . I am quite concerned that I was not informed that the property was sold and that the surveyor came onto my property without first obtaining my consent in order to do his measuring. Blackberry bushes along the cliff have been cut by the surveying team and I am concerned about the possibility of erosion. My neighbor, Mrs. Foss, has informed me that the cliff has been subject to erosion in the past and that the black- berry bushes help to maintain soil stability.
