The issuance or granting of this permit shall not be construed to be a permit for, or approval of, any violation of this Code or any other ordinance or order of
the City, of any state or federal law, or of any order, proclamation, guidance advice or decision of the Governor of this State. To the extent the issuance or
granting of this permit is interpreted to allow construction activity during any period of time when such construction is prohibited or restricted by any state or
federal law, or order, proclamation, guidance advice or decision of the Governor of this State, this permit shall not authorize such work and shall not be
valid. The building official is authorized to prevent occupancy or use of a structure where in violation of this Code, any other City ordinances of this
jurisdiction or any other ordinance or executive order of the City, or of any state or federal law, or of any order, proclamation, guidance advice or decision of
the Governor. The building official is authorized to suspend or revoke this permit if it is determined to be issued in error or on the basis of incorrect,
inaccurate or incomplete information, or in violation of any City ordinance, regulation or order, state or federal law, or any order, proclamation, guidance or
decision of the Governor. This permit becomes null and void if work or construction authorized is not commenced within 180 days or if construction work is
suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days at any time after work is commenced. I have read and examined this application and know the same to
be true and correct.

RE: Temporary Occupancy for:
New Single Family Residence at 608 J Ave and ADU at 1601 6th Street
Permit#BLD-2016-1721
This letter will stand as a"Temporary Certificate of Occupancy"for the project at the above
referenced address. This will expire within 90 days from the above date, at which time the
corrections listed below will be completed, and the final Certificate of Occupancy will be issued.
The following items must be completed in 30 days from the date of this letter:
1. Finish building south ramp to main residence with the necessary handrails and guards
(block off access to these areas until the work is complete and passes inspection).
2. Finish building south porch and east porch roofs (block off access to these areas until the
work is complete and passes inspection).
3. Finish decks and have them pass inspection before using them.
4. Install air gap device for ADU dishwasher above the kitchen sink countertop.
5. Provide report for all backflow preventers showing that they function properly.
6. Provide Blower Door.Test report showing that the house passed the Blower Door.
7. Provide Certificate of Insulation.
8. Pass Public Works Final.
9. Cut back pipes, in mechanical room, above bell drain so that they terminate 1 %" above it
to provide the necessary 1 1/2"air gap.
10. Add a second strap on the top 1/3 of the boiler in the mechanical room where it is
missing.
11. Provide verification that the man door to the garage from the house is 20-minute-fire-
rated.
12. Cover all bare soil with approved material and maintain until landscaping is complete.
13. Apply for an obtain a permit from the City of Anacortes for the solar panels that are
installed above the roof,which are covering vents and roof jacks, and have them

1. Finish building the rain garden
2. Finish landscaping and install the required amount of trees and 8"minimum required
depth of proper soil in accordance with Department of Ecology regulations.
3. Pass landscaping final.
4. Pass Stoiiiiwater final.
I.:MPs must be maintained, and inspections and reports submitted as required by the City
until the landscape is complete and passes the landscape and Stormwater final inspections.
