Dear Mr. Schaub:
Our building inspector followed up on your concern about the drainage from 6150
Parkside Drive in October. He found that several of lots in the area drain from one lot to
the next lot. We have also noted that the Skyline Development did not provide storm
drainage on the low sides of lots such as those lots between Lea Place and Parkside Drive.
Our inspector contacted the party at 6150 Parkside Drive investigated the situation and
suggested that the neighboring property owners get together to come to a solution for this
situation. As of this date we have had no further response from that property owner and
by the receipt of your letter must assume that no neighborhood gathering has taken place
to work out such a solution.
We suggest that the above mentioned solution is the proper way to deal with this
situation. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at.

RE: Fred Schaub - 1808 Lea Place, drainage concerns.
Approximently the 15th of October I visited 6150 Parkside Drive to investigate some
possible drainage problems. After contacting the owners and walking the site with them,
it was discovered that several of the lots on the west side of Parkside Drive tend to have
perimeter drains which discharge from one lot to another in a downhill fashion.
This particular lot has two drain outlets discharging off of it, one to the rear and one to the
downhill side. It also has two outlets from the lot above which drains onto it.
I suggested to the owner that they contact the surrounding lot owners affected and try to
establish some sort of drainage system which would not affect individual lots. No further
contact was made.

This is a follow up letter to our conversation I made several weeks ago. We
are concerned about the effects on our property from our neighbors above ground
drain pipe which discharges into our yard.
We were advised on the phone that someone would look into this and advise us of
the findings. As of this date we have yet to hear from you.
The address that has the drain pipe is 6150 Parkside (in Skyline area) .

•Revised Code of Washington - Thermal Performance Standards, declares: Upon completion of the installation of insulation, a card certifying
that the insulation has been installed in conformance with the requirements of this 1977 amendatory act shall be completed and signed by the
builder or insulation applicator. For this purpose, any certification card which contains all the essential data may be used. The insulation
compliance card shall indicate the "R" value of insulation (material only) installed in the ceilings, walls, floors, on the perimeter,and ducts.
When loose fill insulation is used the card shall show the square footage and the number and weight of bags installed to obtain the"R"value
listed. The card must be posted at a conspicuous location within the building and will indicate the installation date.
••R Value (thermal resistance) means the measure from the resistance of a material or building component to the passage of heat.The resistance
value (R) of mass type insulation shall be for the material only."R"values shall be as listed in the current ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamentals,
or as tested in accordance with current applicable standards.
No certification of occupancy or similar certification that a newly constructed apartment house three stories or less in height, home,or other
residential dwelling is habitable shall be issued by such a building department unless the structure at least satisfies the minimum energy insulation
standards established pursuant to this chapter.
