The work performed to install the infrastructure improvements have been inspected and accepted by the City of Anacortes Public Works Engineering Department on December 21, 2020. Per the City of Anacortes Municipal Code to you are required to provide a 2-year Maintenance Bond. The bond is based on 10% of the construction cost of the development. The construction cost that was presented for the infrastructure improvements for the Salish Motel project is $530,000.00. At 10% of the construction cost, your bond amount is $53,000.00. Your project requires the two-year bond to satisfy the maintenance of the infrastructure improvements. This bond will be used at the discretion of the official to correct deficiencies in the maintenance affecting public health, safety and welfare and will be posted and maintained throughout the two-year maintenance period. I will route over to Dave Oicles and Rob Frisinger in the Building Department for them to issue the permit when they are ready. I left you a voice message. I do not see in my files an Engineer's Estimate of Construction or a Cost Estimate from FABER for all on-site\off-site civil improvements.This is needed to establish the Plan Review and Construction Inspection Fees for the Engineering Department.These fees will be made part of the overall building permit fee.
