RE: New 30,000-Gallon Propane Tank
Dear Mr.Reynolds:
The following comments are on result of the review by the Fire Department and Building
Department for proposed installation of a 30,000-gallon propane storage tank at 12356
Fidalgo Bay Road,Anacortes.
Please provide the requested information drawings and a written response to each comment.
1. Provide a detail to show storage tank foundation and foundation to tank
connections.
2. Provide a site plan to scale,to show tank location, roadways, fire apparatus access,
on street fire hydrants, site fire hydrants,if any,and access gates.
3. Show bollards or other means of protection for the tank from vehicle damage.

Dear Mr. Measamer:
SUBURBAN PROPANE has served this area for many years. Most recently from our
present site at 12356 Fidalgo Bay Rd., Anacortes.
To better serve our customers and accommodate the expanding customer base, we
propose to upgrade our storage tank from a 17,500ga1lon tank to a 30,000gallon tank.
Please see the attached drawing. Guidelines and procedures for necessary permitting is
required at your earliest convenience.
