Dear Mr. Squires:
Based on the information we have received from the County you are the owners of the
property located 1102 16t'Street in Anacortes. If you are not the owner of this property,
please contact us as soon as possible so that we direct this letter appropriately.
It has come to our attention that this property has been unkempt for sometime. Please be
aware that our nuisance abatement ordinance does require that grass be mowed to a height
of 6 inches or less and that any weeds be controlled. The purpose of this requirement is to
reduce fire hazard and also to reduce the possibility of rodents and other vermin finding
additional places to live and propagate.
With this letter we are requesting that the yard be mowed to an appropriate height less than
6 inches and that any noxious weeds be controlled. Coming into the fire season, it is
necessary that this be done as soon as possible.
