A Resolution Confirming the Appointment of Members to the Planning Commission
WHEREAS, the Anacortes City Council adopted Ordinance 5015 January 20, 2026, updating Anacortes
Municipal Code Chapter 2.42 Regarding Establishment of the Planning Commission to create the
Commission consistent with chapter 35A.63 of the Revised Code of Washington; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has authority to appoint members of the Planning Commission with City Council
consent as follows: one for one year; two for two years; two for three years; and two for four years
consistent with Ordinance 5015, Anacortes Municipal Code (AMC) 2.42.040 (B); and
WHEREAS the Mayor has appointed the persons noted below to the Planning Commission subject to City
Council confirmation;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANACORTES CITY COUNCIL THAT:
The following appointments to the Planning Commission for the referenced periods are confirmed:

1 – Michael Mills 2/2/26 2/1/27
2 – William McCombs 2/2/26 2/1/28
3 – Paul Ryan 2/2/26 2/1/28
6 – Frank Jeretzky 2/2/26 2/1/30
7 – Linda Martin 2/2/26 2/1/30
