City Council Minutes—March 11, 2013
At approximately 7:00 p.m. Mayor Dean Maxwell called the regularly scheduled Anacortes City Council
study session of March 11, 2013 to order. City Councilmembers Eric Johnson, Ryan Walters, Erica
Pickett, Brad Adams, Bill Turner, Cynthia Richardson and Brian Geer were present.
2010 Comprehensive Plan and Development Regulations Amendments: Review Edits to Titles 16,
17, 18 and Proposed New Title 19
Planning Director Ryan Larsen invited councilmembers to review the most recent edits to Titles 16, 17
and 18 suggested by Attorney Susan Drummond. He suggested councilmembers to email him regarding
grammatical corrections. Council discussed several changes to Titles 16 and 17; these were noted by
staff for inclusion in the next draft. Council had no comments on Title 18. Mr. Larsen said staff would bring
these chapters back to Council at the next study session. Mayor Maxwell said Council would discuss Title
19 at the March 25, 2013 study session.
There being no further business, at approximately 8:05 p.m. the regularly scheduled Anacortes City
Council study session of March 11, 2013 adjourned.
