THIS APPLICATION IS RECEIVED BY THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE UNIFORM PLUMBING AND MECHANICAL
CODES AND SHALL EXPIRE BY LIMITATION AND BECOME NULL AND VOID IF PERMIT IS NOT OBTAINED WITHIN 180 DAYS OF THIS
APPLICATION. BY AFFIXING MY SIGNATURE I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT I AM THE LEGAL OWNER OF THE PROPERTY FOR WHICH THIS

17.28.050 MINIMUM LOT SIZE
For single family dwellings the minimum lot size is to be 6,000 square feet, for multi-family the
requirement is 6,000 square feet plus 1,200 square feet for each additional unit. For other uses no
minimum area is required.
17.28.060 MINIMUM SETBACK REQUIREMENTS
Minimum setback requirements in an RH district shall be as follows:
A. Front, and side yard on a flanking street-- 10 feet from property lines. If the street is designated
arterial the distance shall be increased to 20 feet.
B. Interior side-- 5 feet or one foot for every 5 feet of building height,whichever is greater.
C. Rear -- 10 feet or one foot for every 4 feet of building height, whichever is greater. Accessory
Structures may abut property line at alley when built parallel to the alley,,or shall be setback a
minimum of 5 feet when perpendicular to alley.

17.28.070 MAXIMUM DENSITY
Density for the project applied for is not to exceed 28 units per gross acre.
17.28.080 MAXIMUM LAND COVERAGE
Maximum land coverage by buildings shall be 50%.
17.28.090 MAXIMUM BUILDING HEIGHT
Maximum building height shall be 35 feet; if non-residential space, 50 feet.
17.28.100 OFF-STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS
All uses must meet minimums of Section 17.46, Parking. This requirement can be reduced through
Planning Commission approval upon a show of evidence that fewer spaces are needed because of special
circumstances(e.g. senior citizen or studio apartments).
