On,November 11, 1999 we sent you a formal Notice of Cancellation on the above referenced bond. As of
yet,we have not received your acknowledgment of this Notice.
Pursuant to said Notice,this letter is to advise you that SAFECO INSURANCE COMPANY OF
AMERICA will not recognize any liability under this bond as to obligations which may be incurred after
December 25, 1999.

We recently received a certified letter from Safeco Insurance Company advising us that Bond No. 5947882 re' W.G.
Clark Construction Co. has been cancelled effective December 25, 1999. We are not aware of any contracts the city
has with this contractor. If you are aware of any coverage, contracts or any sub-contractor arrangements involving this
company, and/or if you have any concerns regarding the cancellation of this bond, please contact me right away. I
would also like to know if anyone can assure me that It's OK to forward or discard this letter.
