Based on the desire to reduce copper and zinc at the Trident Seafoods Anacortes facility we recommend an Aquip®enhanced filtration system. Two options for treating Outfalls Al and T1 are proposed. To incorporate the a treatment system at either outfall slight modifications to the existing system will be required. These modifications are summarized below. Optionl —Outfall Al Treatment: • Treatment Pump & Bypass System— install a treatment pump & bypass system between the existing catch basin and discharge point to the city storm drain line. This will house the pump to divert the treatment flow rate to the above ground filtration system. The system includes an internal bypass weir to route peak storm events around the treatment system. • Aquip Enhanced Filtration System— Install an Aquip 50SBE near the existing building. Based on the Washington DOE Western Washington Hydrology Model (WWHM), the Aquip 50SBE is sized to treat the 91% storm volume for the estimated total drainage area of 1.5 acres, which is 50 gpm. The outlet from the Aquip would discharge to the outlet side of the new Treatment Pump & Bypass System. -4*N— E cn T U) U) a o d ` c IL cu a Q F- 0 Z Lij cu LU x A4 40 If i r o > LL w p p z Q z z w O W J } LL 0 Z D N p I LL Z p aLLI Q 5 vi W Z W, a oIL g p Q _ z F- _ U H r Z 4 N Q N U LL co *DX W r+ y oil, N z J ?Q 5)r w O Z J X r w O w a ar 5w o, Qz lit a 1 z € a w a F o y_ i w CIE a W S w U o a Z \ w w O a / Q 3 Z m Q a X 4 a U W ............ ----------------- ON\ a , cy ;Zw 3a= ala N 00 r m U 71 U'co IL w ww ¢ crigm '.uay as rw a w> z>O am0 a a zm z o¢m. c 'i Ua c7 m ww Z a U o r mZ N ? a mcr zz_ a w w w z zFz l am mw wQUQ Oa U N Zw r N X w ABOVE-GROUND AQUIP® FILTRATION SYSTEM SHEET WITH TREATMENT PUMP & BYPASS SYSTEM cR, INSTALLATION SCHEMATIC stormwateRxDATE: SCALE: FILE NAME: DRAWN: CHECKED: www.stormwaterx.com .w...r.. 10/06/10 NTS AQUIP PUMP&BYPASS SCHEMATIC I ARG CPN 1 OF 1 GENERAL NOTES 1.
