Dean,
I will make contact with the tenants asap for a walk through and safety inspection. Also, will require signage regarding
alcohol use and ask that they provide a copy of what rules they may have in place.
I also discussed the issues with the owner, Mr. Rennebohn.
Once we have completed the inspections with the Fire Department we will establish written occupancy guidelines for
building use, we gave them some guidelines when they first moved in, but need to revisit for new uses.
I will be out of town the last two weeks of August, so I will try to get over for the inspection Monday, Tuesday next week.
Thanks, Don

I brought up the event the "What the heck fest" at our staff meeting yesterday after a
conversation I had with the Pastor of the Church Michael Graves who is located in the
building next door to the old police station or as they call themselves, the department of
public safety.
He
e had an number of issues with the "What the Heck Fest" and I have tried to boil them
down where we have jurisdiction. He brought up the issue of the concerts at the old police
station and he felt that they were at times violating the occupancy of the building. They
parently are leaving garbage lying around after the concerts and trespassing on church
rroperty during the events.
am going to ask Don via this e-mail to make the occupants of the Department of Public
5afe-ty to more closely monitor the events and activities and via this e-mail I will ask the
Fire Department if they see issues next door with occupancy or open container or underage
drinking that they work with our Police and Fire departments to bring them back in line.
