After our discussion,I came back to the <br /> office to review the 98-foot dimension with Assistant City Engineer Gary Barnett.He did review his files <br /> and verified the 98-foot. I am not sure how the 90-foot dimension came to be on the Short Plat. <br /> I apologize to the Evan's for any heartburn this may have caused. If we can continue with the agreement <br /> and get an agreement signed,and the Short Plat and Street Vacation recorded, as is, like we discussed,I <br /> will work to process the paperwork for the vacation of the additional 8-feet. This will allow for the <br /> construction to start and finally put some concerns,(i.e. dusty roads,poor drainage, etc.)to rest. After <br /> scaling the construction plans,the dimension of the additional vacation will be 8-feet x 115-feet. This will <br /> allow room for the proposed improvements on 28th Street and H Avenue. <br /> The Mayor is out of town until Thursday,May 6, 2004. I will be discussing with him the item of legal <br /> fees.I should have an answer to you by late Thursday or Friday morning.At which time,I will bring you <br /> a modified agreement that will reflect the additional 8-foot street vacation. <br /> Thank you for your attention to this matter.
