<br /> <br />NOTICE OF DECISION <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />File Number: SDP-2021-0005 <br />Project Name: Anacortes Wastewater Treatment Plant Outfall <br />Relocation <br />Property Owner: City of Anacortes <br />Project Location: U Avenue Right of Way, north of 3rd Street <br /> <br />Project Description: <br />The applicant is requesting a Type-4 shoreline substantial development permit and shoreline conditional <br />use permit to replace and relocate the damaged outfall pipe. The new pipe will be a 48-inch diameter <br />Fiberglass Reinforced Pipe (FRP) pipe coming from the WWTP for 1,631 feet until the Guemes Channel <br />shoreline where the pipe will reduce to 42-inch outside diameter high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe <br />for 1,030 feet with an 86-foot diffuser angled to the northeast at approximately 24.5 degrees to better <br />match the bidirectional current.
