The project proposes to replace (10) existing creosote pilings with 12 in.
galvanized steel pilings. The existing 3 ft. by 32 ft.
Request gangway is to be replaced by a 4 ft. by 40 ft. grated gangway.
The project proposes the use of FRP grated decking material which would
allow for 62% light permeability, a reduction in complete over water coverage
that the existing solid wood decking presented.
The subject property is located within the Urban shoreline environment
designation with majority of the work occurring within the Aquatic shoreline
environment designation.
The City of Anacortes Department of Planning, Community & Economic Development has determined
that this project does not have a probable significant adverse, impact on the environment. An
environmental impact statement(EIS) is not required under RCW§43.21 C.030(2)(c).
