<br />NOTICE OF DECISION <br /> <br />File Number: CUP-2021-0001 <br />Project Name: Cap Sante North Basin Recreational Vehicle (RV) Park <br />Applicant: Port of Anacortes, 100 Commercial Ave., Anacortes, WA 98221 <br />Project Location: 600 T Avenue (P56860, P56861, P56862, P56880) <br /> <br />Request: The applicant has requested a Conditional Use Permit and site plan approval to improve a 26 space <br />Recreational Vehicle (RV) Park located in the North Basin of the Cap Sante Marina area. The proposal will modernize <br />the RV Park with updated facilities for RV Park guests, including provision of full utility service to the RV spaces. <br />Improvements would provide the park with appropriate paved access and spacing, one RV space would be <br />eliminated. A 1,100 sq. ft. single story utility/restroom/shower and laundry facility would be constructed for <br />exclusive use by RV Park guests. The existing gravel site would be landscaped and vegetated, and updated utilities, <br />including stormwater, would be installed. The total footprint of the RV Park would remain the same (approximately <br />2.5 acres) with about 1-acre of open space. <br /> <br />SEPA Threshold Determination: The SEPA lead agency for this proposal, the Port of Anacortes, issued a SEPA <br />Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) on June 17, 2021. <br /> <br />City Council Decision: Approval of the conditional use permit and site plan, with conditions <br />Date of Final Decision: September 7, 2021 <br />Date Notice of Decision Issued: September 10, 2021 <br /> <br />Appeals: Per AMC 19.20.030.1 and 19.20.240.A, there is no further administrative appeal available for this <br />decision.
