DocuSign Envelope ID:91 E55AB2-7CE1-4424-A6BC-4ABE28939164 <br /> Resolution No. 3042 <br /> A Resolution establishing the 2021 Docket of Comprehensive Plan and Development Regulation <br /> Amendments <br /> Whereas under RCW 36.70A.130(2)(a), updates, proposed amendments, or revisions to the <br /> Comprehensive Plan are considered by the City no more frequently than once every year; <br /> Whereas,under AMC 19.16.030(B),the City of Anacortes may accept petitions for development regulation <br /> amendments as part of the annual docketing process, or may itself initiate the process of adopting or amending <br /> development regulations at any time; <br /> Whereas under AMC 19.16.040(B), the City of Anacortes accepted proposals for amendments to the <br /> Comprehensive Plan and/or development regulations through the last business day in March; <br /> Whereas petitions received for the 2020 Docket that were not previously considered for docketing are <br /> included for consideration in the 2021 Docket; <br /> Whereas the Planning, Community&Economic Development Department published notice of the public <br /> hearing on June 9,2021 and accepted written comment through June 30,2021; <br /> Whereas the City Council held a public hearing on the proposals on June 28, 2021; <br /> Whereas amendment proposals placed on the docket will undergo further public, agency, and <br /> environmental review, consideration by the Planning Commission, and final consideration by the City Council; <br /> however,placing a proposal on the docket does not imply its ultimate approval; <br /> Whereas on July 12, 2021, the City Council deliberated on the proposals, including public comments <br /> received, and made a motion to include all the proposals for amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and <br /> Development Regulations. <br /> Now, therefore it is hereby resolved by the Anacortes City Council that the 2021 Docket of <br /> Comprehensive Plan and Development Regulation Amendments is hereby adopted and attached as Exhibit A. <br /> PASSED and APPROVED on this 12th day of July 2021. <br /> CITY OF ANACORTES <br /> B ( 1,01it, �� vt, <br /> Y <br /> Laurie Gere, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> ./f6 i) if___ <br /> Steven D.
