The project proposes removing the failing footing toe from the approximately 84 ft. long seawall, then <br /> repairing via replacement the structural footing. The scope of work proposed is as follows: <br /> 1.1. The existing riprap is to be moved while a new concrete footing, totaling 10 cu. yds will be installed. <br /> 1.2. The failing footing toe will be removed via jackhammer; a 3-4 ft. trench would be excavated adjacent to <br /> the wall where the old footing toe is to be removed. <br /> 1.3. Epoxy-coated rebar is to be driven into the base of the existing wall on 12 in. centers and new 8 in. form <br /> panels are to be installed; concrete is to be poured into the forms and allowed to flow into the voids <br /> under the existing wall. <br /> 1.4.
