Notice of Application with Optional SEPA DNS: <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT AN APPLICATION WAS MADE FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPOSAL: <br /> <br />File Number: BLD-2021-0322 <br />Property Owner: RR Summit NW, LLC <br />Applicant: Strandberg Construction, INC <br />Date of Application: April 28, 2021 <br />Date of Completeness: May 19, 2021 <br />Project Location: 2315/2311/2307 Antone Way, Anacortes, WA 98221 (P127683/P127684/P127685) <br />Request: The applicant is requesting a clearing & grading permit with SEPA review for the cut and fill <br />associated with residential development. The project would include the placement of 3,000 cu. yds. of fill and <br />500 cu. yds. of excavation/cut for a total of 3,500 cu. yds. The subject property is located within the Residential <br />Low Density 2 (R2) zoning district. <br /> <br />Required Project Permits/Approvals: The following may be required in addition to the above: Building Permit, <br />Stormwater Review Approval, Right of Way Permit, Dept. of Ecology National Pollutant Discharge Elimination <br />(NPDES) Construction Stormwater General Permit (CSGP) <br />SEPA Review: Based on the submitted application and available information, the City anticipates issuing a DNS <br />for this proposal and the optional DNS process as specified in WAC 197-11-355 is being utilized. Consequently, <br />this may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of this proposal. This proposal may <br />include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require <br />mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. A copy of the subsequent SEPA threshold <br />determination for the proposal may be obtained upon request. <br />Existing Environmental Documents: SEPA Checklist, Tree Preservation Plan, & Geological Site Assessment <br />Public Hearing: None required. A Clearing and Grading Permit with a SEPA Threshold Determination is a <br />Type 2 Administrative Decision. <br />Public Comment Period: The Notice of Application was published on May 26th, 2021.
