Also present: Steve Oakley,Museum Liaison <br /> 1. Called to Order at 7:05 pm <br /> 2. Comments from the Public: none <br /> 3. March minutes approved as amended <br /> 4. Correspondences: <br /> • CAMP for Commissioners May 17 in Tacoma <br /> • Statewide preservation/planning conference in Chelan April 30—May 1 <br /> • NAPC -July in New Orleans <br /> • April 24 Hinshaw meeting <br /> 5. Reviewed nominees for Historic Preservation Month Awards. Steve Cox will make certificates; <br /> Margaret will present awards at Council meeting May 5 <br /> • Visionary Awards—Walk Funk&Nick Petrish <br /> • Special Project Award—Salmon Trash Can Project (to be presented to Anacortes Parks & <br /> Rec) <br /> 6. Old Town survey work review: TA&UTM information entered into State data base by Susan. <br /> Brent linked photos. Steve C. will take photos of the area from 8th to 4th and H to 0 to evaluate <br /> historic district possibilities. <br /> 7. 2008 CLG grant application was submitted just ahead of the deadline <br /> 8. Recommended changes for Ordinance 2530 awaiting conservation district language for Board <br /> review. <br /> 9.
