Box 217 <br /> Anacortes, WA 98221 <br /> Landowner Samish Indian Nation <br /> Application Date August 28, 2020 <br /> The applicant requests Type 2 Site Plan Review and approval for a cottage housing <br /> development consisting of 14 cottages, a community building with a 2nd floor <br /> apartment for an on-site manager, new multi-modal shared access drive and alleys, site <br /> Request utilities, stormwater management facilities, open space, and landscaping. Buffer width <br /> averaging is proposed for a Category IV wetland located near the south end of the <br /> property. The project also includes improvements to 34th Street. <br /> The City of Anacortes Department of Planning, Community & Economic Development has determined <br /> that this project does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An <br /> environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW § 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision was <br /> made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead <br /> agency.
