DocuSign Envelope ID:C7B4889E-E2B3-42AB-974C-49C997136CBD <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3010 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANACORTES <br /> EXTENDING THE DURATION OF RESOLUTION 2082 PROVIDING TEMPORARY <br /> PROCEDURES TO RESPOND TO THE COVID-19 EPIDEMIC <br /> WHEREAS, on March 16, 2020 City Council adopted Resolution 2082 ratifying a proclamation <br /> of emergency and providing temporary procedures to respond to the COVID-19 epidemic; and <br /> WHEREAS, on April 27, 2020 City Council adopted Resolution 2085 extending the duration of <br /> Resolution 2082 through July 31, 2020; and <br /> WHEREAS, on July 27, 2020 City Council adopted Resolution 2096 extending the duration of <br /> Resolution 2082 through September 30, 2020; and <br /> WHEREAS, on September 21, 2020 City Council adopted Resolution 3000 extending the <br /> duration of Resolution 2082 through December 31, 2020; and <br /> WHEREAS, the public emergency for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues and the <br /> future course of the emergency remains uncertain, <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Anacortes, <br /> Washington, that: <br /> Section 1 —Continuing Effect of Resolution 2082 <br /> The provisions of Resolution 2082 shall remain in effect until March 31, 2021, or earlier if <br /> rescinded by future City Council resolution, with the exception of Section 3(C)which expired on <br /> July 31, 2020 and Section 4(A)which expires on December 31, 2020. <br /> Section 2—Public Hearings <br /> Any public hearing that cannot be held in person during the effective period of this resolution <br /> must offer public participation via telephone and other electronic means. City Council and staff <br /> will also encourage and accept public comment via email or written comment. <br /> INTRODUCED, PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF ANACORTES on this 28th day of December, 2020. <br /> ,cam 4 D,.s- <br /> LAURIE M.
