The following <br />comments are provided: <br /> <br />PLANNING, COMMUNITY & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: <br />General <br />1. The project is for a complete marina replacement. The proposal is a like for like replacement <br />with 7,968 square feet of existing floating marina removed and new floating marina installed as <br />well as the removal, demolition and disposal of the existing forty-nine creosote piling and <br />replace with forty-three galvanized steel piling. The existing pier will be re-used and re-decked <br />with fiberglass grating. The existing ramps will be re-used and may require new grated decking. <br />Electrical, potable water, and fire system utilities will also be re-installed in the floating docks. <br />Zoning Designation <br />2. The property is Marine Mixed Use zoned; the Land Use designation in the Comprehensive Plan is <br />Marine Mixed Use.
