RESOLUTION NO. 2085 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANACORTES <br /> EXTENDING THE DURATION OF RESOLUTION 2082 PROVIDING TEMPORARY <br /> PROCEDURES TO RESPOND TO THE COVID-19 EPIDEMIC <br /> WHEREAS, on March 16, 2020 City Council adopted Resolution 2082 ratifying a proclamation <br /> of emergency and providing temporary procedures to respond to the COVID-19 epidemic; and <br /> WHEREAS, the public emergency for the novel coronavirus(COVID-19) continues and the <br /> future course of the emergency remains uncertain, <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Anacortes, <br /> Washington, that: <br /> Section 1 —Continuing Effect of Resolution 2082 <br /> The provisions of Resolution 2082 shall remain in effect until July 31, 2020, or earlier if <br /> rescinded by future City Council resolution. <br /> Section 2—Public Hearings <br /> Any public hearing that cannot be held in person during the effective period of this resolution <br /> must offer public participation via telephone. <br /> INTRODUCED,PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF ANACORTES on this 27th day of April 2020. <br /> (2t <br /> LAURIE .
