o <br /> MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT <br /> This Agreement is a valid, binding contract made and <br /> entered into between Skagit County, hereinafter called <br /> County, and the City of Anacortes, hereinafter referred to as <br /> City. <br /> County' s legal address is : <br /> Board of Skagit County Commissioners <br /> Skagit County Administration Building <br /> 700 South Second, Room 202 <br /> Mount Vernon, WA 98273 <br /> City' s legal address is: <br /> Office of the Mayor <br /> Anacortes City Hall <br /> 6th and `Q' Avenue <br /> Anacortes, WA 98221 <br /> WITNESSETH <br /> WHEREAS, the County is charged with implementing a <br /> County-wide 911 emergency dialing system as approved by the <br /> voters of Skagit County, on September 18, 1990 . <br /> WHEREAS, an integral part of the 911 emergency dialing <br /> system is the designation and establishment of Public Service <br /> Answering Points, where 911 calls are initially answered and <br /> routed. <br /> WHEREAS, the City has an established Public Service <br /> Answering Point and an established call routing procedure <br /> that can be adopted to a County-wide 911 emergency dialing <br /> system. <br /> WHEREAS, the City represents it is fully qualified to <br /> complete the Scope of Services herein below described. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual benefits <br /> to be derived from this Agreement, the County and City agree <br /> as follows: <br />
