PREAMBLE In accordance with Provisions 1-04.4 Changes as cited in Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction 2014, this modification provides an equitable price adjustment based upon the clarifications and changes to the Work. To recap, Modification 01 increased the contract price by $149,270.00 to $744,383.00 (See Article II as included therein). This modification increases the contract price from $744,383.00 by$29,175.00 to $773,558.00. The Contract is amended as follows: ARTICLE I. WORK Modify the first sentence in the Second Paragraph to read as follows: Second Paragraph: Upon issuance of Modification 01 and Modification 02, the aforementioned Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents are revised to include the following Work: Add the following Items: 4. In accordance with Section 6-13.2 Materials of the Specifications and Plan Sheets C4 through C6, the Contractor shall purchase and install redi-rock retaining wall units. Accordingly, Line Item 23 in the Bid Proposal is revised to read "Structural Earth Wall, Redi-Rock. 5. Using quarry spalls, the Contractor shall backfill the washed out areas along the old railroad bed that were caused by historic storms. ARTICLE II. PRICE Delete in its entirety and insert the following: The Total Contract Price is Seven Hundred Seventy-Three Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-Eight Dollars ($773,558.00). The Contractor's bid schedule incorporated by reference and attached hereto as Exhibit A is superseded Exhibit B. Exhibit B is superseded by Exhibit D which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference. All other terms and conditions except those explicitly changed hereunder remain unchanged.
