ORDINANCE NO. , <br /> An ordinance fixing the compensation of elective and appointive officers <br /> and employees of the City of Anacortes, and repealing ordinance No.893jbeing <br /> and ordinance fixing the compensation of elective and appointive officers,etc. <br /> passed October 1801938; and repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith. <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAC ORTES DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:- <br /> SECTION <br /> OLLOWS:SECTION 1. That the elective and appointive officers and employees of the City <br /> of Anacortes shall hereafter,commencing January,1939, receive the following <br /> salaries and compensations, to-wit: <br /> The City Clerk shall receive a salary of $65 er month; <br /> The City Treasurer shall receive a salary of 65 per month; <br /> The City Attorney shall receive a salary of $65 per month; <br /> The City Health Officer shall receive a salary of $24.75 per month; <br /> The compensation of all other officers and employees of the city <br /> shall be in such amounts as the city council may from time to time <br /> designate and prescribe. <br /> It is provided however, that if any department of the city shall <br /> call upon the city clerk to' perform work which is outside of the <br /> general routine of duties of the city clerk as prescribed by law, <br /> he may perform such work and accept a reasonable compensation there- <br /> for;and, <br /> It is provided further that if the city attorney shall be called <br /> upon to assist the city treasurer in the foreclosure of delinquent <br /> L.I.D.Assesoments,he may perform succi work and receive such com- <br /> pensation as may be designated by the city council. <br /> SECTION, 2. That ordinance No.893 passed and approved Oct.3,1938, fixing compen, <br /> sation of elective and appointive officers,etc;and all ordinances or parts of <br /> ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 3.
